Project 2: Interlinking Lines

This project challenged me to determine how a flat plane of acrylic material can be rearranged into a 3-Dimensional project that was representative of a sound. I chose to represent a singular beat of a song by creating a piece that feels circular and smoothly guides the eye around. I wanted to play with color by using an electric pink colored thread to connect the pieces. The thread adds a lot of character to the piece by being simultaneously loud and quiet. Loud due to the color, but quiet in the weaving movements it makes through the hole punches in the acrylic.
